Sail to Krakatoa Volcano and visit the Papandayan on West Java

This is a special tour to visit the famous Krakatau volcano. A special semi outdoor tour, you will enjoy sleeping at the hammock or tend nearby the beach at Krakatau Islands. The tour will continue to visit the Papandayan volcano in West Java.

Tour Itinerary

Day 1: pick up service at the Jakarta Soekarno-Hata airport. We will take you to the Hotel nearby the Old City of Batavia. It is a very nice place to enjoy the afternoon.

Day 2: After breakfast, transfer to Carita Beach located on the west side of Java Island. It will take 4 to 5 hours driving. On the way, we take you visit to the remaining foundation of the old light house which was destroyed by Krakatau tsunami on 1883. After lunch, sail to Krakatau with a double engines speed boat. Landing at the Anak Krakatau volcanic island, set up the camp and walk around the black sand volcanic beach.

Day 3: Early morning wake up, trekking to the lower rim of Anak Krakatau to enjoy the sunrise. As we arrive back on the camp, our crew is already prepare the breakfast. Relaxing and enjoy you hammock. After packing we will sail to the snorkeling spot on the west side of Rakata Island. After lunch, the boat will take us back to Carita Beach.

Day 4: Morning transfer from Carita to Cipanas Mountain resort, West Java. The drive from Carita to Cipanas is more or less 8 hours drive. The hotel is located on the feet of Guntur Volcano, which produces natural hot-spring. On the afternoon, we will enjoy the dinner at a Sundanese West Java restaurant.

Day 5: Early morning drive to the Papandayan Crater. We will have soft trekking to explore its photogenic active crater. On the afternoon, drive to the center of Garut city, then back to the hotel and relaxing.

Day 6: Back to Jakarta / Bandung / Airport, end of services.
